Mr. Corey Groff, Acting Assistant Superintendent
Mr. Corey Groff, Acting Assistant Superintendent, has been with the district for his entire professional career. He started out as a social studies teacher at EPMS in 2002 and taught eighth grade for ten years before transitioning to Principal of West Creek Hills Elementary School. After three years as building principal he moved to his current role at the district administration center. Mr. Groff is a graduate of EPAHS class of 1995. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Education degree from Millersville University and a Master of Education degree and Principal Certificate from Shippensburg University. He is currently enrolled in the Superintendent Letter of Eligibility program at Shippensburg University. Mr. Groff has a goal of bringing a personalized, 21st century learning experience to every student at East Pennsboro, and believes this can be accomplished through a collaborative effort with all stakeholders. He believes that the one to one Chromebook initiative, blended learning model, and development of competencies are all innovative steps the district is already taking towards achieving this goal. His favorite quote is “The best way to see the future is to create it.” Mr. Groff lives in Mechanicsburg and enjoys riding his motorcycle and spending time with his wife and four daughters.
